I really happy with the VMWare2 as it has some feature which is much better than the other virtual machines. I really like that.

Problem, question:
1) When I use the full screen mode in Windows then it use the whole screen. I can go back to the window mode any time without problem. Several times repeated both monitor (with different resultion.)
In case of Kubuntu, Fedora guests when I maximize the screen it seems to be ok for the first time. Then second time starts to flash. Sometimes the whole screen appear on the first monitor, sometimes on the second. Last time it appeared to be stable, however, I could not click on the icons. The guest recognised the mouse and I saw the icon changed a bit (as usual) when the mouse was over the icon. Unfortunately it did not accept the click.
QUESTION: Have you experienced similar? Any workaround?
2) The following is maybe in the DOC. If it is there then I will find that hopefully. I moved my virtual machines from the 1.0.4 to the 2.0 beta 2. All were booting perfectly and recognized the LAN of course. Unfortunately the newly created VMs do not recognize the network card. Manually I can put a few lines - which are network card related - into the new config file from an old one and in that case the network card is available. During the vmware install I did not have to create any network card group or virtual interface (as far as I remember). I can not see any Network definition under the main screen (under the datastores). So the list (name, VMNet, type) is empty.
So the 64 bit fedora was installed and up and running now. However the e1000 card is not recognized as in case of config change I get an error message:

I choose the 'Media device type'
Then the e1000. Then OK. Then the error message: 'Reconfigure Virtual Machine' failed to complete
'If these problems persist, please contact your system administrator.'
'Details: Incompatible device backing specified for device '1'.'
Fortunately in case of Fedora8 the system is working with the old device. But the OpenSolaris does not work (it seems the network card is not recognised).

QUESTION: How can I investigate what cause the problem? What would be the 'device 1'?
I know, I know most of these host/guests are not supported. But I believe these are not 100% version specific questions. So I think a supported version of them have the same issue.
The question is if you experienced similar and if yes, then have you found any workaround?
3) One of the improvement is that a device can not be found then there is no error message on the host device screen but silently not used. This is good. Also a QUESTION in case of the linux versions: is there any way to use several sound cards (so physically 1, but every host can be its own card and can be used in one time parallel) I tried a small sw where the quality of the sound was very bad. I think the solution can be to move from OSS to ALSA.

I know, this is depends on the HW mixer of the card as it could do the HW mixing earlier and the new integrated sound cards can not do the HW mixers.
Despite of the problems I experienced this version is much better then 1.0.x and contains very useful improvements. So a big THANKS for the developers. Great work! Well done!

I w as trying to install python on my 64 bit Windows 10 machine. I downloaded the latest Python 2 release(following Zed Shaw's book, thus not installing Python 3). After installation was complete, I entered python in power shell. I however get the following error.
The shell takes no more input. I'm forced to use Ctrl+C. I know this is extremely basic but I cant seem to figure it out by googling the error.
