Meanwhile, two patches have arrived for Scum in the past two days to address various issues. Perhaps most importantly, anti-cheat has been added, critical for any online game to prevent cheats and exploits. Server controls for admins have also been added, for those hosting their own Scum servers, and server browsers have been improved with filters and searches.

Those darn sentries that were proving tough to survive were nerfed in the first patch, but then buffed in the second patch. Now they'll be more accurate with their gunfire, rather than less, so good luck infiltrating underground bunkers. Spawn rates for animals have been increased, good news for people who are tired of eating other people. Also notable: bulletproof vests now have eight inventory slots instead of none, and bark rope can be made from short sticks instead of long ones (on a personal note: woo).

'And yes we are working on the server lag as we speak,' the patch notes read, 'we just want to make sure it comes out in the best shape as possible. Its on top of our priority list!'

  • Many Applications running at the same time.

These are the main causes of lag in PES games or any game in general. So to fix lag for PES 2018, i need to go through these causes one by one and give the solution for it.

Fix lag for PES 2018

I will divide the solutions to fix lag for pes 2018 into parts according to the cause of error. It is up to you to use all solutions or just pick the ones that you want to fix lag for pes 2018. But using all of the solutions, it will fix lag for PES 2018 at least 50%.

Nvidia or AMD Graphic Not Detected

In most of the cases, PES 2018 doesn’t detect the Dedicated graphic card. Sometimes you have a very graphic card but you see lags and you can’t change quality to “Medium” or “High”. Don’t worry i have the right solution for you as steps below to fix lag for pes 2018:

  2. Click on “Manage 3D settings” (on the left).
  3. Then click on “Global Settings”.
  4. Choose “High Performance Nvidia” and save.

Adware or Malware infections

Adware or Malware can slow your Windows and cause lot of lag in games. So to fix lag for PES 2018, you need to remove any adware or malware found in your PC.
